Las Vegas Couple Photoshoot at in-n-out & Circus Circus & more

There’s something unforgettable about a shoot that starts with laughs in the makeup chair and ends with neon reflections at night — and that was exactly the vibe for Harper and Lin’s day in Las Vegas.

We met at Mstudio Las Vegas while Harper was still doing her hair and makeup. The energy there was infectious, they were so open and playful with each other that I knew we were going to get a ton of character-filled imagery.

After their glam prep, we grabbed a quick couple shots and a bite at In-N-Out, we went there for the iconic Vegas shots with sunset, followed by the bold lights of Circus Circus, where the saturation and playful chaos of neon signs worked perfectly with the fisheye lens I brought along, creating exaggerated compositions and fun visual contrast that matched Harper and Lin’s vibe.

One of the coolest parts of this session was the story behind their paperwork. Since they needed their marriage license right away and had to depart Vegas early the next morning, our videographer Mi, fresh off getting her officiant license, joyfully performed a simple ceremony right in Mstudio before our shoot. Such a quiet and meaningful moment that added real depth to the day.

We finish off in their room at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, which has a huge balcony that is perfect for some night shoots. We also let Harper and Lin enjoy themselves in their room and took more playful and energetic photos.

Everything was shot on 35mm and 120mm film, mostly Portra 400, Portra 800 and some 5219 bulk load film for that clean but vibrant look, which are perfect for sunset and after-dark shoots.

The final collection feels both candid and pose-driven,energetic, bold, and as playful as the couple themselves. If you’re dreaming of a Las Vegas pre-wedding or couple photoshoot that feels cinematic and fun, this kind of film-forward approach is worth experiencing for yourself.

Let’s create your own playful Vegas story on film.
